All
the children are settling in nicely to the routine of school and the
parents seem to have a sense of relief as well! The children are
busy making new friends and getting new lessons on our wonderful
Montessori Materials! While all this is going on, I’d like to
point a few events that are coming up so that you can mark your
calendars accordingly.

School Night: Week of September 17th

and 4th
We are
looking forward to the beginning of the holiday season. To start
with we will be having our annual field trip to Tanaka Farms Pumpkin
Patch. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to get out
of the classroom, climb on a tractor and tour a real working farm.
Besides picking their own organic vegetables, they’ll be able to
pick a pumpkin from the vine to bring home. We’ll also be looking
forward to our Halloween parade. This is a favorite event that
brings back alumni young and old! Come dressed in your costume and
after the parade, the classrooms will have snack parties for all.
Lastly,
don’t forget about our hot lunch program being offered through
Lunch2you. This is a great way to provide your student a variety of
healthy hot food for a very reasonable price. Lunches can be prepaid
for the month or week.
